Pokemon are the main attraction of the Pokemon series games. Generally, these games feature lots of Pokemon, and players can catch them to increase their Pokedex collection. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are no exception. These games feature tons of Pokemon that players can catch, but not everyone is easy to catch. Larvitar is one of those Pokemon that may give you a hard time catching it. This guide will help you know how to find and evolve Larvitar in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Larvitar Catching and Evolving Guide in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet- How to Do?
If you have been playing the game, you have probably collected multiple Pokemon during your journey, but there are more to catch. In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, there are Pokemon that spawns rarely, and Larvitar is among them.
If you have read the above Pokedex description of Larvitar, you already have lots of information about this Pokemon. Larvitar is a Ground/Rock type Pokemon that lives inside caves and can be seen rarely. So, it is natural that players find it challenging to find it.
To make the process a little bit easier for the players, we have marked the location on the map-
From the above map, you can see that this location is near South Province (Area Five), and if you roam around this area, there’s a big chance you’ll get one Larvitar. It is a cute little green Dinosaur type Pokemon and players can miss it if they don’t search the area carefully.
However, once you get a Larvitar, you probably want to evolve it to higher forms. Larvitar evolves twice- first at level 30 and next at level 55. So, if you manage to capture a Larvitar that is already level 30, you don’t need to put effort into evolving it into Pupitar. However, if your Larvitar is below level 30, you have to level it up to get Pupitar and next level up Pupitar to level 55 to get Tyranitar. Players can use Exp. Candies to level up Larvitar and speed up the evolution process to get Tyranitar faster.
That’s all you need to know about how to catch and evolve Larvitar in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. However, the process seems easy, but when you try to catch the Pokemon, you will feel the hardships. It’s extremely difficult to find a Larvitar.
