What Does EN Shortfall Mean in AC6
Before learning what EN Shortfall means, players need to know what is EN generator in general. EN Generators are the power core or battery of the whole Mech or ACs. when upgrading their Mech’s build or changing their parts, players will have to maintain and check the EN generator. The meter for the EN generator shows players whether they have the necessary power to run and use all the parts in Armored Core.
When players upgrade their parts and usually when they change their weapons, they will sometimes see that a warning is showing “EN Shortfall”. This Warning called EN Shortfall basically means that the EN Generator can not power the mech completely and players won’t be able to fully utilise their Armored Core.
In order to not face this issue, players need to monitor their “Current EN load” bar. The bar is located in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and they will also see a white line. The white line is the visual representation of the maximum amount of energy current EN generator can provide. Weapons like plasma, laser or any energy-based attacks usually consume the most energy but players can compensate for them by using energy-efficient parts.
