The new version of Diablo 4 has a lot of new stuff, like a new character class, new friends to help you, and new places to explore. But it also changed how some things work. One of these changes is the Pit, a special dungeon where you can make your glyphs stronger and unlock harder challenges. This guide will tell you how to start playing in the Pit, what it’s location, and what are the rewards tht you can get after completing it.
What is a Pit In Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred
The game now has new challenges called Torment difficulties, which make the game more difficult but offer better rewards. To play these challenging modes, you’ll need to complete specific levels of the Artificer’s Pit dungeon. The Pit is a special dungeon where you have to kill as many enemies as possible in 10 minutes. If you do well, you can unlock more difficult challenges and better rewards. But beware, because when you die, time is lost and it is impossible to finish. The Pit now has a new highest level called 150. If you finish the Pit really fast, you can unlock even higher levels, up to five more levels than before.
Pit Location In Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred
To access the Artificer’s Pit, you first need to locate a special obelisk that is placed in Cerrigar. You can find it right west from the town center, close to an armor and weapons shop. However, you’ll need to complete some other tasks before you can use the obelisk.
- Reach Level 60: You must first reach the maximum level of 60.
- Complete the Priority Quest: Once you hit level 60, you’ll automatically receive a quest called “The Pit of the Artificer.” Complete this quest to gain access to the Pit.
- Use Artificer’s Stones: To enter the Pit, you’ll need to use Artificer’s Stones. You can obtain these stones by completing Whisper Bounties, Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides, or Legion Events.
The higher you level up in the Pit, the harder Torment difficulties you’ll unlock. But with these tougher challenges come greater rewards. You’ll have a better chance of finding rare and powerful items, in exchange of having lower armor and resistances.
Pit Tier | Torment Level |
Tier 20 | Torment I |
Tier 35 | Torment II |
Tier 50 | Torment III |
Tier 65 | Torment IV |
What are the Rewards in Pit
You can make your glyphs stronger by completing the Pit. The better you do in the Pit, the more likely you are to make your glyphs more powerful. But it’s not always easy, and the higher your glyph is, the harder it will be to upgrade it.
If you finish the Pit without dying, you can try to upgrade your glyphs three times, and sometimes even four. Upgrading to level 46 is guaranteed, but you’ll need special items called Gem Fragments. Once you reach level 46, your glyph becomes a legendary glyph, which gives you extra powerful abilities.
