The Sailor Letter quest is fairly simple, but if you are struggling to find your way up this rocky island, this guide will be your compass, parkour guide, and reward for your adventure in the game. Come along as we explore the Sailor Letter Quest, where the sea meets strategic challenges in an exciting, uncharted realm.
How to Start A Sailor’s Letter Quest in Throne and Liberty
In the early stages of your Throne and Liberty adventure, you’ll find an exploration quest in Windhill Shores that asks you to read a letter in a bottle near Spiral Cliff. Although the game gives you some map markers to guide you, a few obstacles might make this quest a bit challenging.
To start your adventure, travel to Laslan Coast, where a little island guards the Sailor Letter, a crucial element of your mission. When you arrive, you’ll quickly realize that scaling the island isn’t straightforward; you’ll need to navigate a maze of challenges carefully. But rest assured, we’ve prepared a comprehensive step-by-step guide to help you tackle these obstacles and reach the peak successfully.
Stranded Sailor location in Throne and Liberty
When you are at the shipwreck, collect the bottle. Your next task is to find the stranded sailor on an island east of Spiral Cliff. The quest mentions that you can take the Marind from Kastleton Port, but I just swam there quickly. Either way, it doesn’t take as long as you might think.
The tricky part of this quest is climbing up the mountain. Using your piton makes it a lot easier, but you still have to be careful not to fly in the wrong direction or fall to your death if you angle your character incorrectly. The paths can be a bit odd too, so watch where you run.
The safest way to climb the cliff is to follow the blue markings on the rocks. You can take a slight detour to use your piton for the rest of the climb, but sticking to the blue marks will help you get started with less chance of falling off the mountain. When you reach the top of the cliff, you’ll find a skeleton and a letter. Reading the letter will move you forward in the Sailor’s Letter quest, helping you get past the tougher part of the challenge.
Now that the hard part is mostly behind you, it’s time to start flying! With your treasure chest objective active, use your gliding morph to head west to the small island between Spiral Cliff and the Stranded Sailor’s spot.
When you arrive, you’ll see a treasure chest you need to unlock before returning to Kastleton. You’ll talk to a few characters to officially complete the quest. Throughout the mission, you’ll earn rewards like Growthstone, Growth Book, and Morphstone, and for the final objective, you can choose between Growthstones for a Quality Weapon, Armor, or Accessory.
