[SOLVED] Football Manager 2024 Database is Not Updated, Cannot Select Database

Football Manager 2024 offers a fantastic simulation experience for those who love managing a real football team. In this simulation, you can immerse yourself in and hone your skills in managing various aspects of a football team from a managerial perspective. The latest edition of the game is now available, but many players are expressing frustration over being unable to access the 24.1.0 version due to being stuck in the beta. If you’re facing issues with Football Manager 2024 database is not updated or being stuck in the beta, here’s what you can do.

Football Manager 2024 Database is Not Updated, Stuck in Beta

The missing database in the FM 24 is not a bug or an issue with the game. The database is in the same place it has always been. You should know that at this point there is no official database released. The correct location of the database is on Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data\.fmf file.

However, the process to get the data has changed a bit since last year. You need to choose the database before you choose a game mode, unlike last year when you could do it in Advanced Setup. When you select Career, there is an option in the upper right corner. In the image below, under Database, you should be able to see the option to choose if you have any custom DB files.

If the option is greyed out for you, complete another step. Go to the \Football Manager 2024\editor data and copy the fmf file. Then, paste this file to Football Manager 2024\db setups. You should now be able to select the database.
