To continue your journey through Brookhaven Hospital, you’ll need to solve a puzzle involving X-rays. The X-Ray Room Puzzle is a necessary puzzle you need to solve in Brookhaven Hospital. It’s part of a larger puzzle where James has to find three bracelets in the hospital.This guide will help you solve the X-Ray puzzle in Brookhaven Hospital in Silent Hill 2 Remake. How to start the X-Ray Viewer Puzzle
You should go to the third floor of Brookhaven Hospital and break the glass to enter Exam Room 5. Once you are inside, you can continue walking until you reach the X-ray Room.
Before looking at the X-ray viewer, take the Pelvis Radiograph from the table. You will need it to solve the puzzle. Next to the Radiograph is a Doctor’s Memo that mentions there is a fourth X-ray you need to find to complete the puzzle.
How to find the Fourth X-Ray
The fourth X-ray is in the Nurses’ Station on the second floor. It’s inside a moldy bathtub. You’ll need to find the combination to get into the room. You can’t use this X-ray in the puzzle yet. How to find the Mold Remover
You will get the 1F key in at D2 to get access to the first part of the first floor. Go to the 1F Pantry on the first floor. At the bottom, you’ll find a bottle of Mold Remover near some bugs. Use the Mold Remover on the moldy X-ray you found earlier. This will clean the X-ray and show someone’s hand.
How to Solve the X-Ray Viewer Puzzle
Now that you have the fourth, clean X-ray, go back to the X-ray room to solve the puzzle. You need to match the scratches on the X-ray with the markings on the viewer. If you do it correctly, a code will appear. The number of markings you have on the viewer, depends on the level of the puzzle.
Light & Standard Level
You have all four radiographs with markings. Now you just need to align the markings on each radiograph with the corresponding markings on the viewer.
Hard Level
Only the skull and lungs radiographs have markings on the viewer. You’ll need to try different combinations to align the pelvis and hand radiographs with the skull and lungs radiographs.
The code is 4-37-12 for all difficulty levels. The only difference is the number of markings on the viewer.
Opening the Combination Lock
After you get the code, enter it into the combination lock. There are three symbols to the left of the lock that show you which way to turn the dial for each number. The code is always 4-37-12, no matter the difficulty level.
Once you open the combination lock, you can enter the room and get the Filthy Bracelet. The Filthy Bracelet is used in the Hand Puzzle at the Doctor’s Office.
