The Sacred Pledge of Blood quest presents you with a fun and challenging obstacle course. You’ll jump around on floating platforms and solve puzzles to find a unique artifact. It might sound tricky, but knowing the right way is pretty straightforward. The puzzle is a part of Ezekiel’s Past quest.
How to Start the Sacred Pledge of Blood Quest
To start this quest, talk to Jacque Hander in Stonguard Castle. He’ll send you to a temple where you’ll have to jump around, solve a puzzle, and fight a boss. After you win, you’ll learn a new and powerful skill. The Temple of Sylaveth is near Stoneguard Castle. When you enter the temple, go to the circular room. Talk to Scarla’s Ghost and touch the glowing ball in the middle of the room.
How to finish the Sacred Pledge of Blood quest
In this tricky puzzle, you’ll see three pillars that appear and disappear. You have to jump on them and move around to reach a special object in the middle of the room.
First memory pillar
To start, find the first pillar in the middle of the room. Touch the glowing sign in the middle of the room. Stairs will appear. Go up the stairs and turn right.
Second memory pillar
After touching the second pillar, a new gate will appear. Jump on two stone platforms and use your Piton to swing across. Be careful not to fall, or you’ll have to start over.
Third memory pillar
You might think you need to go to the third platform on your right, but actually, you don’t. Instead, keep going forward and go through another gate. Follow the hallway to find the third and final pillar. You’re almost done with this tricky course. When you’re ready, touch the last pillar to open a gate. Jump on two more platforms and use your Piton again. Then, go to the Pledge Artifact in the middle of the room to finish this part of the quest.
How to defeat Vampire Leonardas
Keep walking through the hallways until you find Leonardas, the vampire boss. He’s not too hard to beat. Use your regular attacks and watch out for when he teleports behind you. You can hurt him most of the time, but sometimes he’ll be immune to damage. To hurt him, you must use the Pledge Artifacts that give you extra power to defeat the vampire. After you defeat Leonardas, you’ll get Vampire Slayer Ezekiel as your Guardian. You can see him in the Main Menu under Guardians. You can also use any other Guardians you have.
Vampire Slayer Ezekiel
Ezekiel was bitten by a vampire but saved by Scarla, a monster hunter. He survived but became a half-vampire. Feeling hopeless, he tried to kill himself, but Scarla suggested that he fight vampires instead. Ezekiel agreed and learned how to fight from Scarla. He was very grateful to her for saving his life.

When you attack with a basic attack, you heal 20% of the damage you dealt.
