Dealers are the backbone of your distribution network in Schedule 1. As your empire expands and your rank increases, more dealers will become available to help move your product. One of these key figures is Jane Lucero, who operates out of the Docks. However, before she can be unlocked, you’ll need to establish a connection with Melissa Wood. Here’s a step-by-step look at how to unlock both characters.
Acquiring the Docks Region
In order to team up with Jane Lucero, you initially have to acquire the access to the Docks region. You gain access to the region once you achieve Enforcer I rank, i.e., significant growth in your empire. Having done that, the next is to acquire the Docks Warehouse.
The warehouse costs $50,000, making it one of the larger investments in the game, but it pays off quickly. Not only does it serve as a massive HQ for your operations, but it also provides plenty of space for equipment, storage, and workers. Once established, you’ll be able to start dealing in the area and connect with new customers and potential dealers.
Where to Find Melissa Wood
Melissa Wood is the key to Jane Lucero. You can find her in the Casino, playing Blackjack at one of the tables. The Casino is located east of the Motel Room safe house, so you are not far from one of your major bases of operation.
If you have already unlocked Docks, then you will be in position to offer Melissa a free sample when you have a deal with her. After she has accepted it, just keep having some successful negotiations with her. You require this business relationship because this is what pushes her to introduce you to Jane Lucero in the future.
Unlocking Jane Lucero as a Dealer
Once you obtain Melissa as a loyal customer, you will be referred to Jane Lucero. She stays in her RV along the docks, to the west of your destroyed old RV. When you visit her and discuss it with her, she will think about taking up your proposal of being a business partner with you, but there is a condition: an initial $3,000 signing fee and a 20% commission per sale.
After you hire her, you can assign a total of eight customers to Jane so that she is an active member of your dealer crew. You now have your fourth dealer after having her in your network, and you are nearer to achieving the title of a Kingpin in Schedule 1.
