With the introduction of the Tides of Terraria (v0.6.0) update, Palworld brings in a tide of new content, such as seven new islands that are placed all over the map. From tropical isles to frozen wastelands, these islands are full of thrilling environments, special Pals, and new fast travel hubs to find. Among them is one highlight: the Sealed Realm of Terraria, a dungeon that takes inspiration from the legendary Terraria universe.
If you’re excited to map your journey through these new territories, this guide takes you step-by-step through where to locate each of the Tides of Terraria islands in Palworld, how to reach there, and what to look out for during the journey.
The Sealed Realm of Terraria – Tropical Island Adventure
Probably the most thrilling new addition is the Sealed Realm of Terraria, which is on a tropical island southeast of Fisherman’s Point, in the south-west area of the map. The fast travel statue for here is at coordinates -422, -796.
To reach it, your best route is to start from Fisherman’s Point. Use a flying Pal like Nitewing or a water-based Pal such as Surfent to cross the sea to the island. Upon arrival, make your way to the large statue, then climb the nearby steps to locate the Terraria-themed dungeon entrance. Be warned: the dungeon is level 45, so ensure you’re well-prepared before entering.
Frostbitten Isle – A Frozen Challenge
From the Sealed Realm of Terraria, travel southeast to reach Frostbitten Isle, an icy plain on an Iceberg island. Here, the fast travel statue is located at -80, -946, close to the north point of the island.
To reach it, you can go directly from the Sealed Realm or fast travel from the Seabreeze Archipelago – Castaway Beach point over the ocean. Upon arrival at Frostbitten Isle, look out for Frostplume, a waterless Ice-element Pal useful for combat and utility operations such as refrigeration.
Sunlit Isle – Located in the Tropics
Sunlit Isle is another tropical island, this time located east of the Marsh Island Eagle statue and south of the Plateau of Beginnings. Navigate to coordinates 386, -461 to find the island’s fast travel statue.
Getting there is fairly straightforward with a flying Pal, especially if you’ve already activated nearby statues. Expect vibrant scenery and sunny beaches, but don’t let the serene environment fool you—hostile Pals may still be lurking.
Oasis Isle – Desert Heat Awaits
Travel to the north-east desert biome to locate Oasis Isle, lying beyond the sandy wastes. A nearby fast travel location is the PIDF Tower Entrance, so it’s a natural starting point.
You’ll require heat-resisting armor in order to cross the desert safely. When you arrive on the western side of Oasis Isle, find the fast travel statue at coordinates 885, 195. The high temperatures, along with possible fire-type Pals in the area, should be expected.
Isle of Decayed Treasures – Among the Shipwrecks
This Shipwreck Island lies southeast of the Eastern Wild Island fast travel statue. After reaching that point, travel further southeast by air or sea. You’ll find the fast travel statue for the Isle of Decayed Treasures at coordinates 610, -162.
This island is eerie and mysterious in atmosphere, littered with weathered debris and ancient ruins on its surface. It is a wonderful place to go loot hunting or find new lore fragments related to the game’s developing story.
Isle of the Glacial Core – Between Ice and Sand
Nested between the chill of the north and the desert heat, the Isle of the Glacial Core is an Iceberg Island in a notably unforgiving environment. The closest fast travel locations are Duneshelter and the Pal Genetic Research Unit Tower Entrance.
For the island’s harsh cold, take proper equipment like a thermal undershirt, Level 2 pelt armor, and a torch or heat-emitting Pal. The fast travel statue is at coordinates 140, 637, providing you with instant access to this cold, high-difficulty area.
Phantom Isle – Shrouded in Mystery
The last island in the Terraria Tides update is Phantom Isle, which is another Shipwreck Island. It is located northwest of the Ruined City fast travel statue, near the western border of the map.
Find the Phantom Isle fast travel statue at -886, -186. This eerie spot is beset by dark water and ancient wreckage, allowing for a spooky setting suitable for rare or mystical Pals.
