When you make a new player in NBA 2K25, they always start out really skinny. It’s kind of weird that you can’t change their body type right away.

In NBA 2K25, you can customize your player’s looks, including their weight, height, and face. There are three different body types to choose from, but you can’t pick them right away. This guide will show you how to change your player’s body type and give you some other tips too.

How to Change Your Body in NBA 2K25

NBA 2K25 lets you customize your player in a lot of ways, like their looks, skills, and even flaws. Even though there’s so much to choose from, you can’t change your player’s body type until you’ve played a bit.

When you first create your player, they’ll be pretty average-looking. To change their body type, you’ll need to go to the training center and work out a lot. After a while, you’ll be able to make them more muscular or even bulky.

The more you work out at the Gatorade Gym, the faster your player will get better. As you complete exercises, you’ll earn stars and badges.

You’ll need to earn 50 stars to change your body type for the first time, and 100 stars to get the best body type.

How well you play will affect how fast you earn stars. Once you’ve unlocked all three body types, you can change your player’s look.

How to reach the Gatorade training facility

If you haven’t been to the Gatorade Training Facility yet, it’s easy to find. It’s right by the arena, but a little bit away from the shopping center.

When you get to the training facility, do all five workouts. You can only go there once a week, so come back every week in real life. If you don’t know how to play a mini-game, try a warm-up first.

How to get Swole body type

These workouts are the easiest way to get the highest possible score and unlock the Turbo Boost and the Swole body type.

  • Acceleration: Agility Ladder
  • Speed: Treadmill
  • Stamina: Medicine Ball
  • Strength: Dumbbells
  • Vertical: Box Jump or Leg Press

For Acceleration, try the Agility Ladder. It’s pretty easy – you just press one of four buttons. You get three tries, so once you get a good score, you’re done.

The Treadmill is the hardest workout, but it’s still easier than the other workout.

To get better at stamina, try the Medicine Ball workout. It might be hard to do at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy.

To get five stars in strength, try the Dumbbells drill. It’s the easiest workout in the entire gym. Just press the A/X button a lot and then press the triggers when they appear. It’s easy to do.

To get better stars at Vertical, try the Box Jump. It’s easier to do consistently than the Leg Press.

If you’re about to finish a workout and you don’t have a good score, just close the game. It won’t save your score. If you don’t, you’ll have to wait until next week to try again.
