Stealth in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater isn’t just about hugging walls and sneaking past guards — it’s also about getting your environment. Camouflage camo and face paint are core mechanics, with dozens of options scattered throughout the game. Most of these patterns are purely cosmetic, but a select few have immense benefits such as unlimited ammo, stamina, or increased stealth ability.
Comprising 61 camouflage patterns and 25 face paints, there is a great deal to achieve. Though not many must be sought out actively during the main game, most become unlockable rewards of the postgame, non-lethal boss fight rewards, or special challenge completion.
Here are all unlockable camouflages and face paints, where they can be found, and how to get them.
Camouflage Patterns
Camo uniforms make up the majority of Snake’s stealth gear. They are unlocked by means of visiting hidden areas, boss character kills in an alternate way, or progression through the narrative.
