In Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, every quest presents various challenges, such as solving puzzles or finding ways to progress in your exploration. During the Idol of Ra quest, you’ll eventually arrive at the Underground Cave System, where you’ll encounter the Light Chamber puzzle. The goal is straightforward: figure out how to direct light into the chamber.

To solve the puzzle, you must ensure that the light reaches the panels on the door where the locks are located. At the start, you’ll notice there is only one visible light source to work with. Our guide to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will help you solve the Light Chamber puzzle.

How to Begin the Light Chamber Puzzle in Indiana Jones Game

As part of the “Idol of Ra” main story quest, you’ll need to solve the Resonance Chamber puzzle in the Chamber of Resonance, which will then lead you into the Ancient Caves.

As you progress, you’ll come across various murals and cressets to photograph. Use these as markers to guide you through the caves.

Soon, you’ll reach a mirror in front of a closed door. Aim it at the disk to the right of the door to unlock it. The next room you’ll enter is the Light Chamber.

Solving The Light Chamber Puzzle in Indiana Jones Game

The Ancient Gate features three primary symbols at its centre and six more on its sides. In the room, there are three mirror discs that must be used to direct beams of light towards the correct symbols on the door to unlock it. However, only one mirror disc initially emits a beam of light towards the door, while the others remain inactive.

To solve the Light Chamber puzzle and open the Three-Eyed Door in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, players must first activate the other two mirror discs.

The Second Mirror Disc

On the left side of the room, you’ll find two accessible doors. Entering the first door provides the opportunity to obtain an ancient artifact, though this is optional for players.

Heading into the second door allows you to adjust a mirror disc, activating the second light beam in the main chamber. With two light beams now active, you’ll need to activate the third one to complete the puzzle.

The Third Mirror Disc

Return to the main Light Chamber, where you’ll notice two rooms on the right side. Enter the first room to retrieve a Brass Mirror disc from the ground.

Carry the disc to the second room on the right and place it on the stone pillar. There’s no need to adjust its position, as it will automatically activate the third light beam in the main hall.

Align the Light Beams with the Correct Symbols on the Three-Eyed Door

With all three light beams activated, it’s time to open the Three-Eyed Door and solve the Light Chamber puzzle. The objective is to align the symbols on the sides with those in the centre by directing the light beams onto the correct symbols. Follow these steps:

  • Aim the first beam at the top-right symbol.
  • Direct the second beam to the bottom-right symbol.
  • Focus the final beam on the middle-left symbol.

Illuminating all the correct symbols will unlock the door, granting Indy access to the other side. Beyond the door, you’ll encounter more tunnels to navigate before reaching the Ancient Abyss and ultimately discovering the Idol of Ra.
