In the thrilling world of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, your trusty revolver is a powerful tool that can help you overcome obstacles and defeat enemies. This guide will walk you through the intricacies of using and maintaining your revolver, from aiming and firing to repairing and repurposing it as a melee weapon.
How to Use Revolver
Indy can quickly switch between his regular outfit and his disguises. To do this, simply select his outfit from your inventory. Once he’s in his regular clothes, he can instantly equip his trusty revolver by pressing the Left key or the D-Pad Left button. Remember, he can only change disguises if no enemies have spotted him.
To fire your gun, you’ll first need to aim it. Hold down the right mouse button (M2) or the left bumper (LB) to aim. Once you’ve got your target in sight, press the left mouse button (M1) or the right bumper (RB) to shoot. Remember, if you try to shoot without aiming, and press the right click button in the mouse you’ll just reload your weapon instead. It is advised not to use the revolver often as bullets are scarce in the game.
You can switch your revolver to a melee weapon by pressing the E key. However, be careful, as using it as a melee weapon will damage it. Once it’s completely damaged, it will break and can’t be used anymore. To switch back to using it as a ranged weapon, simply hold down the right mouse button (M2) or the left bumper (LB). If you break a gun that was part of a disguise, like your revolver, you won’t be able to use it until you repair it with a Repair Kit.
How to Repair Your Revolver
Repair kits are important items in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. They can be used to fix broken items like your trusty revolver, keeping you equipped and ready for adventure. Repair kits are specific to the disguise you’re currently wearing. You can find them on the left side of your inventory screen. To use a repair kit, open your inventory and select the broken item, like your revolver.
You’ll see a prompt to “Repair Revolver.” Press and hold the X button on a console or the E key on a PC to use the kit. Each time you use a kit, the number of available kits will decrease. Once you break an item Indy will discard it. This means you can’t use a repair kit on it. However, breaking your revolver, allows you to use it as a makeshift club many times throughout the game. This ensures you always have a weapon, even in the toughest situations.
