Aliens: Dark Descent is the latest released Real-life strategy game where players need to fight Xenomorphs to progress through the game. The more you go through the game, your initial squad won’t seem enough to you. Players need more squadmates to continue their journey further. If you want to unlock more squadmates in Aliens: Dark Descent, go through this guide for the required information.
Aliens: Dark Descent- How to Get More Squadmates?
If you have been playing Aliens: Dark Descent for a few days already, players must know that this is a squad game where players must make their squad with Marines and fight the Xenomorphs. Starting from 1 Marine, players will eventually unlock 4 Marines after completing the first Story Mission. However, as they progress, they need more Marines for their squad, and that’s when they require the method to unlock increased Squad size.
As we have mentioned, Squadmates are vital in the game; without them, players can’t progress through the game. So, as you progress, you will eventually realize having another squad member will be helpful to you. This doesn’t want you to do any side missions. It will unlock as part of the main story. However, it is impossible to unlock initially. You must progress through the game with 4-squadmates until you reach Story Mission 6.
Story Mission 6 can’t be reached easily. It requires almost 10 hours of grinding. This mission is named Atmospheric Nightmare. Though it will take some time to reach this point, completing this mission will unlock another Marine for your squad. This mission requires you to find your way to Basement 1 and survive massive Xenomorph waves. Once you make it to the Basement, you must find the APC, which will, during a cutscene, take you back to the Otago and unlock the new slot for another squadmate.
That’s all you need to know about how to increase Squad Size in Aliens: Dark Descent. Having a five-member squad helps you complete tasks more efficiently and strengthen the team enough to fight stronger enemies.
