Dark and Darker has not yet been released. The game is in Playtest mode, and already around 50k players are playing the game on Steam. The reviews say that this game is exciting and challenging, and if you have been playing the game, you probably have experienced the relentless hardships of Dark and Darkness. However, like most other games, this game also has a trading system, and this guide will help you know how this trading system works in Dark and Darker.
Dark and Darker Trading System Explained- How to Trade?
If you are playing Dark and Darker, you have probably felt the thrill of the game. Though this game can be played solo, it will be best if you party up with your friends and experience the dangers in the dark dungeons together. Also, the PvP and PvE will become a lot easier if you have teammates to back you up. However, as you progress through the game, you’ll loot treasures, and if you can escape with them through the Escape Portals, they will be yours.
However, as you progress and get more collectibles, you may want to trade some to earn Gold. Gold is the in-game currency, and players need Gold for many purposes. Even trading requires Gold. So, if you have lots of armor, weapons, and other items you don’t need anymore, you can trade them for Gold. Also, the Trading system helps players get required items from other players in exchange for Gold or other items.
If you are new to the game and looking for some help to know how trading works in Dark and Darker, check the below steps-
- Launch the game and click on the Trade option
- Once you click, you’ll get the option ‘Become a Trader.’
- Click on it, and you’ll get the below-shown window-
This window shows you the rules and regulations of the Traders Guild in Dark and Darker and the fees to join the Guild. Players need 25 Gold to Join Trader’s Guild, so you need to grind through the game for some time.
- Once you get enough Gold, follow the same steps to join the Traders Guild. This is a one-time thing. Once you join, you can trade anytime
Now, once you join the Guild, open the Trade Menu, and you’ll see the window shown below-
In this window, players need to select a suitable Trading Post to start trading. On the right side, you’ll see that the Trading Posts are divided according to the items; for example, Armor-Trade Posts, Weapon-TradePosts, etc. So, choose a Trading Post based on what item you want to Trade. If you want to trade a weapon, go to Weapon Trading Posts, and always choose the one with the highest members. Each Post shows the member count below.
Once you choose the Post, you will see that your inventory is open on the right-hand side with the list of Traders. On the left-hand side, you’ll see the chatbox where you can see the things players want to trade and what they want in return. In the below chat box, enter the name of your item and the amount of Gold you want in exchange. Then, send it and wait for some player to request a trade. When someone requests trade, accept it, and once he gives you the required amount of Gold, you can hit the check box to make the trade; otherwise, you can cancel the trade, and his Gold will be returned to him. On the trade window, there will be two boxes, on the right side box, put your item, and on the left side box, the other person will put the Gold.
That’s all you need to know about how to Trade in Dark and Darker. Additionally, you can also request a trade by clicking on the trade offers in the chat box left side. Right Click on the trade offer you like, and the trade request will be sent to the trader. The rest of the process will be the same.
