Hogwarts Legacy is riddled with mysteries, both inside and outside of Hogwarts. Many of the solutions to these riddles are not immediately stated and will necessitate the usage of your extensive spell arsenal to achieve. One such quest is The Helm of Urktot. This is the twenty-third main quest in the game.
In this quest, you are to obtain a unique Goblin relic and present it to Ranrok, hoping that he spills his secrets and information to your ally, Lodgok. The most complicated part of this quest is solving the Moth Tomb puzzle which takes place in the Collector’s Cave. That brings us to the main problem.

Once inside, proceed down the path until you reach a locked door with moths.
Head down the left passageway and use Lumos to entice the third moth back to the door.
Stop casting Lumos to release the moth and open the door.
Continue down the path and you will arrive in a circular room with a massive chest in the center. And as you can see above, right beyond that chest is another door similar to the one you just opened.
Because all three moths are missing from this door, you must gather and return them.
Two are on either side of this circular area as you can see.
The third, however, is behind a set of shattered doors immediately to the right of the moth entrance, which you’ll need to blast through with Depulso.
As you head down the path, you will arrive in a chamber and you will be greeted (not in a friendly manner, if I might say) by undead creatures called Inferi. These creatures cannot be harmed unless you set them on fire. So use spells like Confringo and Incendio, or use the exploding barrels in the chamber to damage them.
Further down the path, another huge chamber opens up. There’s a contraption in the center on which you need to place one of the two moths nearby using (you guessed it) Lumos.
Step on the platform on the right side of the room, then cast Depulso on the now-powered mechanism in the centre to raise you higher, allowing you to climb up the wall to reach the third moth required for the door.
Drop down and use Lumos to insert the moth into the door, then recover the moth from the mechanism and the other moth on ground level in this area to open the door and advance.
A hanging box may be found in the next chamber down the hallway. Break the rope and dump the crate, breaking the floor and allowing you to drop down.
As you find your way to the next chamber, you will find a contraption similar to the previous one, alongside your friendly neighbourhood Inferi. Greet them with love, as you did with the previous ones. The Duelling Feats here will be to finish the combat in less than two minutes and to slice a frozen enemy (by freezing an enemy with Glacius and then hitting them with Diffindo).
After activating the contraption with one of the moths found in the chamber, go and stand on the platform on the right. And cast Depulso to raise it.
Walk to the right and you will find a moth. Use Lumos to bring it to the moth activated door on the left of the platform.
Then go down and you will find another contraption (as shown above). Activate it with the moth found on one of the sides of the chamber.
Now to activate the door on the top left. You had one moth before. For the other you will find one right beside the door.
Jump over the gap and place the moth in the entrance, then grab the other moth to the right of the door and Lumos it in as well. There are actually four moths in this area, so leave the moth in the mechanism and return to the alcove you didn’t take from to begin with. Or you could use the moth from the contraption in the picture above, which is now raised and place it on the door.
The witch’s resting place is in the room down the steps. You’ll find a dead Ashwinder by the coffin, where you can look for a Signet Ring, albeit the Helmet has already been removed. When you’re ready to depart, step behind the coffin and interact with the wall to reach the North Hogwarts Region.
