The two primary objectives of the contract Welcome to Tau Ceti in Marathon can be completed in the Perimeter zone by fighting UESC enemies and scanning an FTL array located in a UESC radio tower. Read this guide to get a simple breakdown of how to complete the contract in the easiest way possible!
Defeat UESC Enemies in Perimeter
Make sure to launch into the Perimeter map and equip the Welcome to Tau Ceti contract before you start to find the enemies. Your first objective is to kill UESC NPCs located on the map. You should find NPCs throughout named areas and when traveling between towns and cities. Just move around the area and kill any UESC NPCs you come across until you have completed the objective.
Scan the FTL Array at a UESC Radio Tower
Once you have defeated the UESC enemies, the next objective will be updated to scanning of the FTL array at any UESC radio tower in Perimeter.
The town of Station is a place where you can carry out this task. When you reach Station, find the ladder up to an orange platform (exact location is marked on the map), then locate the area in the back of the platform where the radio tower is.
Interact with the tower to begin the FTL array scan. The scanning process takes around 10–15 seconds, so make sure you stay covered while it completes.
Once the scan finishes, the Welcome to Tau Ceti contract will be completed. After that, you can move on to another contract or bounty as per your liking.
