To unlock the secret vault in Nightshift Forest, you will need to find a special item called a Mythic vault key. To get this key, you will need to find a Sprite, a tiny magical creature roaming the Fortnite map. You can use special shrines to locate these Sprites. Once you have captured a Sprite, bring it to a character named Bushranger. After showing the Sprite to Bushranger, they will reward you with the key, allowing you to enter the secret vault.
How to Open the Vault in Nightshift Forest
To start your quest for the vault key, head to Nightshift Forest. You will come across special Sprite Shrines there. Visiting these shrines isn’t mandatory, but they can help you locate spirits faster. Sprites are magical creatures that send out beacons to reveal their location, so watch for those signals, especially in Nightshift Forest. While spirits can show up anywhere on the Fortnite map, staying in Nightshift Forest will make your search a lot easier.
After you interact with a Sprite Shrine in Nightshift Forest, it will highlight nearby Sprites with coloured icons and outlines. This makes it much easier to spot them as you explore the area. While you can use this method to find Sprites in any region of Fortnite to unlock the vault, we’ll be focusing on Nightshift Forest.
Find Bushranger
Once you have caught a Sprite, search for the fox shrines in Nightshift Forest. These shrines are where you will find Bushranger. Look for small buildings on your map or a dialogue box icon to spot the shrines. There are a few of these locations, including one south of the piers and another directly south of the vault. Once you show the Sprite to Bushranger, they will reward you with a special key called the Mythic Vault Key. This key will let you open the locked vault in Nightshift Forest. Now that you have the vault key, it’s time to claim your reward. Head to the big building in the centre of Nightshift Forest. Just east of the main castle, you’ll find a huge staircase leading to the vault door. This door is currently locked, but your key will open it for you and anyone else who finds the vault.
The Mythic Vault
Now that you have the key, it is time to unlock the treasure. Head to the big castle in the center of Nightshift Forest. To the right of the castle, you will see a giant staircase leading to the vault door. Use your key to open it and claim your rewards. Inside the vault, you will find a shrine holding a powerful weapon called the Typhoon Blade. There are also several treasure chests filled with valuable loot.
