In the second chapter of Black Myth: Wukong, the Wind Tamer is the second Vessel players will obtain. To reach the Secret Kingdom of Sahali, where the Vessel is located, players must complete an NPC’s questline and find several items.
This guide provides complete information on acquiring the Wind Tamer Vessel and fulfilling all the requirements to access the secret area in Black Myth: Wukong.
How to Access the Secret Kingdom of Sahali
To enter the Secret Kingdom, you must find the Drunken Pig NPC near the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine. He’ll ask you for a Sobering Stone, which can be purchased from the Man-in-Stone NPC if you’ve completed his quest or found it in a pot behind the Windrest Bridge Keeper’s Shrine after defeating the Tiger Vanguard at the Crouching Tiger Temple.
You can also read the below guide for more guidance.
Once you give the Drunken Pig the Sobering Stone, he’ll head to the Crouching Tiger Temple. Teleport there, speak to him, and he’ll ask for a Jade Lotus. This item is relatively easy to find, especially if you’re familiar with Chinese mythology-inspired games. Look for it in a pool near the Village Entrance Keeper’s Shrine. He’ll mention a piece of gold after you bring him the Jade Lotus.
To proceed, you’ll need the Arhat Gold Piece, which can be obtained from the First Prince of Flowing Sands in the Valley of Despair. Give this item to the Drunken Pig near Rockrest Flat to trigger a boss battle. Defeat him and follow him through the cracked door. A cutscene will play, leading you to the Kingdom of Sahali.
How to Obtain the Wind Tamer Vessel in Black Myth: Wukong
Once you arrive in the Kingdom of Sahali, you’ll face the powerful Tiger Vanguard boss. Defeating him will lead to a cutscene where he asks you to assist the Yellow Wind Sage near the Sandgate Bound Keeper’s Shrine. The Sage will request your help in defeating Fuban by timing your attack to seize its Vessel. Follow the slope down for the boss fight.
In the first phase, Fuban’s attacks are few but powerful, yet they’re not difficult to dodge.
When Fuban’s health drops to around 50%, it’ll disappear into the sand and reappear from above, launching attacks. The Yellow Wind Sage will join the fight, and together, you can defeat the boss.
After the fight, you’ll be teleported beyond the kingdom’s gates and receive the Wind Tamer as a reward for defeating Fuban.
