As with most chapters in Black Myth Wukong, secret areas are only open when you go the extra mile and complete sidequests or encounters that don’t cross paths with the main story. Chapter 5 has a secret area known as the Bishui Cave. To unlock the location, you must beat the boss, Pale-Axe Stalwart, and then go through his dialogues. Unlike the Chapter 4 secret area, this one is quite simple and does not require much effort. Here is how to get to Chapter 5, Secret Area – Bishui Cava in Black Myth Wukong.
How to Reach Chapter 5 Secret Area: Bishui Cave in Black Myth Wukong
To start the quest in Chapter 5, find and defeat the Pale-Axe Stalwart. Go through his dialogues. Here are the steps you need to follow.
Find and Defeat Pale-Axe Stalwart
Go to the Flaming Mountains > Wood of Amber > Ashen Pass 1 Shrine. From the shrine, follow the path on the left and go past the Buddha Statues. You will soon run into Minotaurs fighting the dead. Take the first left, and the Pale-Axe Stalwart is up the stairs fighting the dead. Go and battle him. Once defeated, go through the dialogues.
Go Back to the Ashen Pass 1 Shrine
Go back to the Ashen Pass 1 Shrine and rest. Return to him. He is not at the exact location but nearby. You will not miss him as all the other Minators are gone, and the fight ends. Go through his dialogues again.
Talk to Him Again at Ashen Pass 3
Go to Flaming Mountains > Field of Fire > Ashen Pass 3 Shrine. Head right from the shrine and follow the path down until you encounter the Pale-Axe Stalwart.
If he is not at the Ashen Pass 3 location, return to the previous location and talk to him there.
Defeat the Rusty Gold Cart
Go to Flaming Mountains > Field of Fire > Fallen Furnace Crater Shrine. Head down from the Shrine and follow the path with the large stone pillars. The distance to the boss is long and hard to explain, so watch the video below for the location.
Defeat the Rusty Gold Cart, then talk to Pale-Axe Stalwart. He will show you the Frozen Wall. Go and interact with the wall, and the ice will break. You can now access the Bishui Cave in Black Myth Wukong.
