The SLAMS-12 shotgun is a powerful shotgun that is a good option if you want something that deals a lot of damage when enemies get too close. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to unlock the SLAMS-12, craft its ammo, and collect everything required so you can start using it as quickly as possible without any problem.

How to Get the SLAMS-12 Shotgun

The SLAMS-12 shotgun is unlocked by spending 85 Warbonds at the Equipment Upgrade Station, where you can equip and use it in your loadout.  The SLAMS-12 uses Shotgun Ammo, which you can craft yourself. To make a batch of this ammo, you’ll need 10 Basic Building Materials along with 3 Calcium Powder.

How to get Calcium

You can find a Calcium Ore deposit north of the orbital lander where you start the game, with another one located directly to the east. Calcium also shows up in smaller amounts inside both small and large meteorites found around the map. To find it easily, head toward the higher ground and scan the area for brown, sand-colored rock ledges, as that’s where Calcium is usually found.

How to get Basic Building Materials

Basic Building Material is a resource you will find in the game. It’s an ore-based material that’s mainly used with the Building Tool to place and construct structures. You can make Basic Building Materials using either the Basic Item Printer or the Fabricator. Both work the same way; each craft gives you 10 Basic Building Materials and requires 1 Titanium Ore and 1 Wolfram Ore.

How to Get the Warbonds

To spend Warbonds, you first need to earn them, and you can get them just by playing the game. You’ll often find Warbonds inside containers while exploring Arcadia-7, and there’s also a chance they’ll drop from defeated enemies, though that isn’t guaranteed every time. Another good option is to progress through the Griffits Blue Corporation levels. As you rank up, you’ll receive Warbond rewards, including 60 at Level 5, 80 at Level 7, and a big 100 Warbonds at Level 10.
