The Semi-Automatic Shotgun is a lucky find in the game unless you know where to look for it. There isn’t any violence involved in getting the shotgun. Once you are in Chapter 2 of the game, go to Watson’s Cabin. An old lady is in the cabin, and you can choose to kill her, but you can also get the shotgun without any violence. The old lady is harmless, although she talks a lot of smack. Here is the location of Watson’t Cabin on the map. Just go Noth of Strawberry towards Lizzie Creek, and then a little North is a cabin.
Once you are in the house, go past the old lady, and from the back room, there is a way down leading into the basement. Jump in there, and you should be able to see a weapon case. Open it, and there you have the Semi-Automatic shotgun.
