Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is here, and you will be able to play on Nintendo Switch. As usual, you will be able to collect a lot of Pokemon in this game, but there are some major improvements as well as a brand new map to keep players on their toes. This game has three new starter Pokemon as well, and you will be able to collect a lot more as you explore the land of Paldea. In this guide, we will take you through the process of how to get Miraidon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Where to Find Miraidon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
If you want to climb in the map of Paldea, which you will need to do a lot, you need a mount. This will be available to you towards the beginning of the game, but you will need to complete some steps in order to get it.

Miraidon and Koraidon are the mounts in Pokemon Violet and Scarlet respectively. You will be able to catch Miraidon in Pokemon Violet, and you can catch its counterpart Koraidon in Pokemon Scarlet. If you want to know how to get Miraidon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you are in the right place.
Note that you will only be able to catch Miraidon, a legendary Pokemon, in Pokemon Violet. This is an Electric and Dragon Type Pokemon that you will be able to get quite early in the game as a mount.
The location of Miraidon is near the Poco Path Lighthouse. You will need to follow the How to Catch Pokemon tutorial. You will then be able to use the Pokemon as a mount. However, if you want to add Miraidon as a Party Pokemon, you will need to complete the game.
After finishing the main story mission, you will be able to press the X Button to bring up the menu for Miraidon, where you will have the option to use the Pokemon in Battle Form.
You can also catch a second Miraidon in the game by travelling to The Great Crater of Paldea (Area Zero). This is also part of the end game content of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
