Hogwarts Legacy provides players with mounts to improve their navigation and make travelling fun. Currently we are aware of 4 types of mounts, the Hippogriff, Thestral, Graphorn and of course, the broom.
To briefly put it, in order to obtain a Graphorn, you must finish San Bakar’s Trial. You must defeat a Graphorn yourself in this mission. After that, you will be able to use Graphorn as a mount in the game.
How to get a Graphorn mount in Hogwarts Legacy
To get a Graphorn mount in Hogwarts Legacy, you need to complete San Bakar’s Trial Quest. During the adventure, you will encounter and combat the Lord of the Shore. Reduce its HP with various Spells and avoid its strikes to the best of your ability.
The Graphorn lives upto its name of Lord of the Shore as it is one of the hardest mounts to obtain. It has very fast attacks and if you get caught up in its charges, you will lose a massive part of your health bar. Once it drops below 50 percent health, it becomes even more aggressive (as shown above). This makes dodging and timing your attacks perfectly, the key to winning this fight.
When you considerably reduce its health, a cutscene will emerge, giving you the option to kneel or attack the charging Graphorn. Choosing either will result in the same outcome, as the beast finally lets you saddle them.
Where to find Graphorn in Hogwarts Legacy
The Graphorns have only one den at Clagmar Coast. Unfortunately, you must first progress through the game and obtain your first Graphorn mount before the Graphorns spawn in this location. And that means you need to finish the San Bakar’s Trial Quest and defeat the infamous Lord of the Shore for the Graphorns to even spawn in this den.
