Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora- Fishing Process Explained
Though, fishing can be a great pastime in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the game doesn’t have any fishing rod. That’s not a big problem though. Players can use their bow to catch fish or use their Ikran to fish. We’ll get back to the process later. First, let’s focus on finding a fishing spot.
Fishing spots are quite common in the game. Almost every water body has fishing spots, but the important part is to locate them. Once you go near a river or any water body, you will see circles of rippling water. These are the designated spots to catch fish. Alternatively, use your Na’vi senses to scan these rippling water to check whether they are fishing areas or not.
Once you have located the fishing spot, the remaining process will be easier. Players only need to use their long bow or their Ikran to catch fish. However, these methods are applicable for different purposes. If you want fish to cook recipes, you must use your longbow. Wait quietly while aiming at the fishing spot. Don’t randomly shoot as they won’t guarantee fish. Players must shoot the arrow when the reticle turns red. This process is enjoyable and also helps you stock up on food.
However, if you want to catch fish using your Ikran, remember, that your mount will immediately consume the fish it catches. Players can’t use those fish for any other purpose. Additionally, to unlock this ability, players need to first unlock skills from the Rider Skill Tree. But this will be great if you want your Ikran to revive its lost energy.
