The Nightfall activity in Destiny 2 allows you to farm a bunch of rare weapons in the game including the Shadow Price and Palindrome. But, the weapons are in rotation, meaning every week there is a new weapon you can get. If the current week has The Swarm as loot item, Shadow Price will be next and then, come the Palindrome. Currently, the Palindrome is on offer until the reset on Tuesday, so you will have to wait another week for a shot at farming Shadow Price. Stick with us and we will tell you all about the How to farm Shadow Price in Destiny 2 and its god roll.
How to Farm Shadow Price in Destiny 2
Shadow Price is a great weapon with some terrific rolls we will discuss later, but if you want the weapon, you have to take part in Nightfall activity in the week starting 2nd March. There are some additional things you need to do to ensure you have a better chance of getting the weapon to drop.
Shadow Price is a random drop in the game and depends on the RNG, but still you can better your chances by doing two things. To get the Shadow Price in Destiny 2, go to the Ghost and turn on the perk Prosperity (Vanguard). With this perk, you drastically increase your chances of farming the weapon. The perk reads, “Vanguard playlist strikes and Nightfall completions have a chance to drop an additional piece of legendary gear.” It just means you have one more opportunity to get the weapon drop.
The second is the weapon drop possibility depending on the game mode, the +1300 and +1330 have equal chance of getting the drop. But, the ideal way to farm the weapon is +1300 or Legend difficulty. Going through the game at +1330 will make progress slow and while you have equal chance of the weapon drop, the progress will be slow and not the ideal mode for farming. The same goes for solo players.
The weapon drop chance on lower difficulty like the +1270 is Uncommon and on lower and first tier Adept difficulty is Rare. From our experience, Rare almost always means none. So, if you are a solo players and can’t take on the +1300 mode, your best chance of getting Shadow Price to drop is to play through the game in +1270 mode.
Ensure the above and you should be able to farm the weapon in Destiny 2 with ease.
Destiny 2 Shadow Price God Roll
Shadow Price has some great roll for both PVP and PVE. Here are the perks that can drop for you depending on the player type.
God Roll for PVE
- Overflow or Feeding Frenzy
- Arrowhead Brake
- Dragonfly or Thresh
- Tactical Mag or Appended Mag
God Roll for PVP

- Swashbuckler
- Corkscrew Rifling
- Killing Wind
So, secure the Shadow Price or the other two weapons, you have to take part in the Nightfall activity. The weapon is a random drop, but you can increase your chances of farming it by playing at +1300 difficulty and equipping the Prosperity (Vanguard) perk.
