Emotes are a geat way to express yourself within the game in Palworld. Whether playing on your PC or with a controller, performing emotes is extremely easy and can really heighten your gameplay experience. There are various emotes you can choose from, even including gestures such as waving or beckoning someone, plus dancing. This guide will detail the steps of accessing and using emotes on PC and controller, as well as introduce the seven emotes found in the game.

How to Emote on PC

To start, press the ‘4’ key on your keyboard to open the action wheel. Once it’s open, look for the “Emote” option in the upper right corner and click on it. This will bring up a second wheel with seven different emotes to choose from. Simply click on one to perform the emote.

How to Emote on Controller

To begin, open the action wheel by clicking the right analog stick on your gamepad. After that, the steps are similar to those on a PC: look for the “Emotes” option within the wheel, interact with it, and then select the emote you’d like to perform.

  • Wave: Your character waves their arm back and forth.
  • Beckon: Your character waves their arms and shouts.
  • Dance: Your character performs a handstand and spins around.
  • Hand Over: Your character extends their hand with an open palm.
  • Sit on Ground: Your character sits down right where you’re standing.
  • Surprised: Your character gasps, then steps back with a shocked expression.
  • Sit in Chair: Your character adopts a squatting position, ideal for sitting on chairs or benches. Without a chair or bench, the character may appear to float.
  • Kick: Your character perform a high-kick, which is all for fun and doesn’t cause any damage. It’s a great way to show off or mess around with friends, especially after a tough battle when you want to grab some valuable materials quickly.
  • Sleep: Your character lie down and start snoring, mimicking sleep. However, while this is a fun way to rest in the game, it’s more effective to sleep on a bed to refresh your day and regain energy.

Currently, there are nine emotes available in the game, which allow you to express yourself in various ways. While more emotes may be added in the future.
