Mastering the Black Flash technique in Jujutsu Infinite will really help improve your fighting skills. This powerful move is unlocked as you progress through the Focus and Technique skill trees, earning you Focus Tokens that fill up as you damage enemies. These tokens can then be consumed to trigger the Black Flash during heavy attacks or certain taijutsu skills. Additionally, Black Flash Tokens that a player acquires by executing a Black Flash must be used to cast Maximum Techniques. With the appropriate skill tree upgrades and strategy, you could actually unlock the potential of the Black Flash for the most effective battle winning.
How to Do Black Flash
After unlocking the first node in the Focus tree and the Chanting node in the Technique tree, you will be ready to perform a Black Flash. This node grants you three Focus Tokens which are represented as segmented bars above your HP bar. These tokens fill up as you deal damage to enemies. Once a Focus Token is filled, you can consume it to trigger a Black Flash with your heavy attack (RMB) or any taijutsu skill.
To execute a Black Flash, simply press M2, followed by a Heavy Attack (R) or another compatible move, which will be marked below. Keep in mind that to perform Maximum Innate moves, you need to land three Black Flashes to earn BF Tokens, which are then used for Maximum Technique moves linked to specific Innates. You can perform a Black Flash with most moves from the Strength skill tree, regular Heavy attacks, and specific Weapon abilities and techniques.

Black Flash Tokens
Black Flash Tokens appear as thin red lines beneath each Focus Token and are necessary for casting Maximum Techniques, 3 BF tokens per cast. You earn them by performing a Black Flash. The maximum number of Black Flash Tokens you can hold at once is equal to the maximum number of Focus Tokens you have. You can increase the maximum number of Focus Tokens by unlocking the Focus Token 1 and 2 nodes in the skill tree, each costing 15 SP. Both BF Tokens and Focus Tokens remain active until you teleport out of an area.
Tips
- Focus on Filling Your Focus Tokens: The more damage you deal, the quicker your Focus Tokens fill. Ensure you’re consistently attacking enemies to fill your tokens, as they are required to trigger the Black Flash.
- Use Compatible Skills for Maximum Efficiency: Make sure you’re using moves that are compatible with Black Flash. These moves are highlighted in red in your skill list, and you can perform a Black Flash by pressing M2 followed by a Heavy Attack (R) or any compatible skill.
- Unlock Focus Token Nodes: Increase the maximum number of Focus Tokens by unlocking the Focus Token 1 and 2 nodes in the skill tree. Each node costs 15 SP, and this will allow you to use more Black Flashes and earn Black Flash Tokens faster.
- After triggering the Black Flash with your heavy attack or compatible skills, be mindful of the timing. To maximize your effectiveness, land three Black Flashes to earn BF Tokens for casting Maximum Techniques.
- Utilize Black Flash Tokens Wisely: Black Flash Tokens are needed to perform Maximum Techniques, so make sure to save them for when you really need them. Keep an eye on your BF Tokens as they are crucial for executing powerful moves.
- Combine with Strength Skill Tree Moves: Many moves from the Strength skill tree, like Rising Kick and Talon Strike, can be used with Black Flash. Experiment with different combinations to find the most effective strategies for your fighting style.
