Like earlier titles in the Call of Duty series, Black Ops 6 is a first-person shooter that includes a single-player campaign, a multiplayer mode, and a cooperative Zombies mode with round-based gameplay. Creating private matches in Black Ops 6 allows players to customize their gaming experience. This guide will show you how to add friends and create your own private matches. You’ll learn how to invite friends from the lobby, manage your squad settings, and even add bots for practice.

How to add Friends in Black Ops 6

In the lobby, press the R3 button (or RS on Xbox) to view your current friends and invite them. Alternatively, from the main menu, go to the options and choose Social. Then, select the Invite Friends tab in the top right corner. You can search for your friend’s ID or use the Recent and Network tabs to send a friend request. To easily find your current friends, check the Network tab, which lists all your friends on the same platform.

How to add a Random Player in Black Ops 6

If you want to befriend a random player in a match, open the scoreboard, hover over their name, press the square button (or X on Xbox) to see their profile, and then choose “Send Friend Request.” The “Recent” tab in the Social section keeps track of your teammates from recent matches, making it easy to send them friend requests. Just hover over their name and press the square button (or X on Xbox). In the Multiplayer or Zombies lobby, you can disable auto squad-fill to limit your team to just one friend. To do this, press the R3 button (or RS on Xbox) in the lobby, click on the gear icon next to the friend invite tab, and set the party option to “Closed.”

How to Create Private Matches in Black Ops 6

You can find the Private Match option under Training Mode in the Multiplayer lobby. Once you select it, invite friends by clicking the plus icon next to your display name in the top right corner. Private matches let you customise all gameplay settings and even add bots instead of real players, so you can practice your skills and get to know the maps better.

Add bots to a private lobby: In the Private Match menu, select the “Add Bot” option instead of “Invite Friends.” You can find this feature by clicking the plus icon next to your display name in the top right corner. From there, you can choose how many bots to add to the match and adjust their intelligence by changing the AI difficulty level.

How to join Private Match in Black Ops 6

To join a Private Match, go to the training tab and open the Private Match menu. Then select “Join a Private Match.” Enter the code that the host shared with you. Each private match host has a unique code displayed on the game mode card in the lobby, right next to the game settings. Just enter that code in the “Join Private Match” section to get into their server.
