With it completed this way, you’ll receive a free Power-Up Perk-a-Cola, and you can begin to open and save ammo for the zombie-fighting rampage. See below how to achieve the reward and begin picking the fight with zombies at will.
How to Start the Secret Spore Quest
To begin, players should equip themselves with a reliable long-range weapon to tackle bothersome Parasites and target clusters of spores on a nearby rock. They’ll need to hop in a boat and set out to sea, circling the main Terminus Island to locate a specific rock covered in these spores. To complete this step, players must shoot all the glowing spores around the rock. Be careful, though! Each spore you destroy will spawn a nasty parasite. You can choose to ignore or kill these parasites, but once all the spores are gone, a loud growl will let you know you’ve done it.
After clearing the spores from the first rock, your next goal is to find and clear spores from two more rocks over the next two rounds. To start the next round, take the boat back out to sea and search for another spore-covered rock, its location will be random each time, so stay alert as you explore. When you find it, focus on shooting all the spores on the rock. Parasites will appear again, but you can ignore them as long as you destroy every spore. Move on to the third round, find the last spore-covered rock, and make sure to clear every spore.
After clearing the spores from all three rocks, head back to the Sea Caves near Speed Cola. Inside this hidden area, you’ll find your final target—a large spore growing from the ground. Shoot it to reveal a wave of spores that have taken over the cave. Begin destroying all visible spores. Once they’re all cleared, more Parasites will spawn, so take them down quickly to stay in control. With the Sea Caves cleared, you’ll be rewarded with loot, including a random Perk-a-Cola Power-Up that guarantees a free perk for your efforts.
