Guiding Light is a favor that you can get after you find a rune engraved on the fallen statue of Tyr. You will need to look for the runes which are the parts of the statues which are all located near the frozen Lake of Nine. There are three parts in total that you need to collect, which are the helmet and two bracers of Tyr.
The first thing you will need to do is to collect the part of the statue that is near the bridge to Tyr’s Temple. There is a spear here with an engraved rune that you need to examine in order to begin this favor.
The next thing you need to pick up is Tyr’s helmet. You can check where it is by taking a look at your map. It will be near the spear, with a rune inside. Collect it and go west where you can see another piece which is the left bracer of Tyr.
It is easy to spot these items as they have runes, which glow bright blue. Collect the left bracer near the gateway and travel to the Shores of Nine. Here, you will find the last piece of the quest which is Tyr’s right brace. Pick up the rune and you will complete the favor of Guiding Light.
