As you venture deeper into the world of Pharloom in Hollow Knight: Silksong, surviving becomes tough and you must step up your strategies to thrive. Each corner, if not all of the map is laced with enemies and bosses that are out for blood! As you progress through fights, things can quickly fall down to your advantage. Knowing how to heal is an important element to the gameplay. It’s not a simple process and more so when you’re a beginner in the game.
How to Heal in Hollow Knight: Silksong
There are a few ways to heal your character in the game, such as:
Using Bind

This is the easiest way to heal in the game and it works by filling up a gauge under your health, every time you hit an enemy. If the bar is completely full, you can spend it to heal your health. This results in restoration of the health bar by 3 marks and makes the Hornet stop.
(Note: The entire bar is utilised every time you heal.)
This makes it quite crucial to use the Bind at the correct moment or when you’re in dire need of health. Healing also makes you vulnerable so make sure you’re in a safe environment before hitting the ability.
The Warding Bell is a tool that can protect Hornet while she is healing as the Bind takes some time. It can be bought from Frey after you complete the My Missing Courier quest.
Resting on a Bench

You’ll come across plenty of resting benches along your path in the world of Pharloom. If you lose health and die, the last bench you rested on becomes your respawning point.
Benches are free to use, or as it seems in the beginning but there are plenty of benches that require Rosaries to unlock. Carrying Rosaries is important for this reason. You can use a resting bench to save your progress and heal your character.
