Hogwarts Legacy is one of the year’s biggest titles and possibly a Game of Year award contestant. The game has sold more than 216K copies on Steam, per Player Tracker. The game is also available on the Epic Games Store and GOG. So, a massive player base has already preordered the game. We believe that Hogwarts Legacy would have sold more than a million copies, at least when considering the game coming to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
The Switch release date is much later after the PC and the next-gen console launch. Hogwarts Legacy currently has 302,833 people following the game on Steam. It’s the number 1 whitelisted game and among the top 3 sellers on Steam.
Hogwarts Legacy is developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Games. The game is set to launch on the 10th Feb 2022. But, if you preorder the Deluxe Edition, you get a three days head start with the game unlocking on the 7th Feb.
Hogwarts Legacy comes with Denuvo Anti-Tampering. The technology helps reduce the piracy of games but has been hugely criticized in the past by players as it reduces the game’s performance. The game will also extend support for the 14 languages listed below.
