A good way to determine if it’s a server or local problem is to visit Twitter or third-party website like Downdetector that report the number of users with a similar problem in your region. If the problem is widespread, the problem could be on the server end.

As such, there is little you can do other than wait for the developers to resolve it. However, if a lot of other players are able to play and a limited players have the error, the problem could be local and you might have to follow a tedious process to resolve the error.
