- Change the DNS server
- Fox Xbox One – Open Guide by pressing the Xbox button > Settings > All Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS Settings > Manual > Enter Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 > Enter Secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4
- For Xbox Series X|S – Go to Configuration > General > Network Configuration > Advanced Settings > DNS Settings > Manual > Enter Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 > Enter Secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4

- Whitelist the game on your respective antivirus software
- You may run into the Forza Horizon 5 online issue if the game is not whitelisted on your antivirus software. It has been confirmed by the devs that a range of antivirus software can have issues with the game.
- Power cycle the console, PC, and Router or Modem
