Shadow of the Erdtree, the highly anticipated DLC of Elden Ring is here and live as of a few hours back and a lot of players are confused as the DLC is not starting for them even though they have beaten Shardbearer Mogh. It can be a confusing situation, but we know exactly what’s wrong and will help you start the DLC in this guide. So, keep reading.
Fix Elden Ring Leda Not Spawning or Shadow of the Erdtree DLC Not Starting
One of the first things you should do is ensure that you have purchased the DLC and the game is recognizing the file. You can identify that the DLC is installed by looking at the bottom right corner of the screen where it will say Shadow of the Erdtree.
If the DLC is installed fine and you still can’t interact with Leda to start the DLC or she is simply not spawning, then ensure that you have defeated both the Shardbearer Mogh and Starscourge Radahn bosses. Most players would not have defeated the Starscourge Radahn boss and that’s the reason you can unable to access the DLC.
To start the DLC you need to go to the Cocoon of the Empyrean site of grace, which is behind the Shardbearer Mogh boss.
Once in the area, you will notice a person who is Lida, go and interact with her and the DLC will start.
If you are still not able to start the DLC even after defeating the two bosses; then do this:
- Go to Elden Ring properties in the Steam Library
- Go into the DLC tab
- Uncheck Shadow of the Ertree.
- Verify Integrity of Game Files
- Enable Shadow of the Ertree DLC
