Many My Winter Car players experience not being able to sleep even when they are exhausted. The game does not clearly explain why this occurs, and so players sometimes feel that this is a bug. In this guide we will explain why it occurs and how to resolve the issue.
Why Your Character Cannot Sleep

While playing My Winter Car, players can find their character extremely exhausted and unable to sleep, and due to the game’s lack of clarity regarding the problem, players often assume that the inability to get their character to sleep means that the game is bugged. But the root of this issue lies in a hidden game mechanic concerning the temperature.
Your character’s lack of sleep is primarily attributed to the coldness in the home. If the home is cold, then your character cannot go to sleep no matter how fatigued they are feeling. A lot of players will opt to wear clothing such as a jumpsuit in an attempt to remedy this issue, however, the clothing worn does not change the temperature of the home, therefore it will not help your character to sleep indoors.
How to Fix the Problem

Fixing this problem will require your primary focus to be heating the house. Turn on every heater within the house and then adjust all heaters to max heat (30°C), this process takes time and will not happen instantaneously (approximately 2-3 hours, game time, for the house to reach a suitable temperature). When the temperature is sufficient, you will be able to utilize the bed as you normally would, allowing your character to properly sleep.
