Since the FIFA series is one of the most popular football game series worldwide, players have been waiting for it for a long time, and as soon as the Early Acess began, they jumped into the game to explore the gameplay and newly added features. The Deep Dive gameplay has introduced several new features, including AcceleRATE. This guide will help you know how this feature work in FIFA 23.
AcceleRATE Feature in FIFA 23- What is It?
As we have already said, AcceleRATE is a newly introduced system in FIFA 23, and whenever new features come, players become excited and confused about using the feature. In this case, too, players become confused about how AcceleRATE works in FIFA 23.
The developers have said that AcceleRATE is the expansion to the movement of the players and showing the personality in their movement to improve the viability of different player types. There are three types of Acceleration available- Controlled, Lengthy, and Explosive. If we now discuss these types, the first and the basic type is Controlled Acceleration. According to EA, the majority of FIFA 23 players fall into this category.
Next comes the Lengthy Acceleration. Generally, defenders or tall height attackers come into this category. Though these players are not as fast as others, they can still catch up to anyone and even surpass them, given they have enough distance. They start slow but will stay long in the field and surpass other players over time. Players who have the below criteria will fall into the Lengthy Acceleration category-
- Height: >= 174 Cm
- Strength- Agility: >=15
- Acceleration: >=50
- Strength: >=65
Finally comes the Explosive Acceleration. These players are the exact opposite of the Lengthy Accelerate players. These players start fast and cover the closer distance quickly, but their Acceleration slows down faster. Players with the below criteria fall into the Explosive Acceleration category-
- Agility: >= 65
- Height: <=180 Cm
- Agility- Strength: >= 15
- Acceleration: >= 70
Except for these criteria mentioned above, all other players fall into the Controlled Acceleration category.
That’s all you need to know about how the AcceleRATE feature works in FIFA 23.
