Transient is the sixth quest of The Edge of Fate campaign and one of the most rapid, so it’s a good opportunity to earn some new equipment with minimal wasted time.
Your main task: sabotage a House of Exile power plant—and survive the reprisal.
Infiltrate the Power Plant

The quest begins with your Guardian crossing yet another creepy subway train. After crossing, proceed along the rail track until you arrive at a raised platform. Light resistance in this area from Shanks and Corsairs can be expected.
After you clear the enemies, advance and do a little bit of light platforming. You will, eventually, have a grid of lasers that bring you to a complete halt. Look around the level and grab the Relocator (a special weapon/device) from a corner. Zap the blue teleport pad in the back of the lasers with it to open a portal that takes you to the next level.
After crossing over, prepare your loadout and place a Rally Flag in the corresponding area. The following section comes with limited respawns and tons of action.
Defuse the Splinter Mines

You will now be ambushed by the Fallen. Splinter Mines start appearing in different locations around the arena—each of which must be defused by standing in the ring underneath it until the disarm timer finishes.
This would be easy if not for waves of Fallen coming to your location to attack. Duskfield Shanks will try to immobilize you with Stasis fields, so deal with them as fast as possible before they have a chance to freeze you. Corsairs and Wretches move in the subsequent waves, but they come in waves, not all together—at least giving you short intervals to catch your breath.
Stay mobile, prioritize the mines, and eliminate high-threat enemies first. After disarming the final Splinter Mine, you’ll gain access to the core station.
Overload the Power Station

Inside the facility, your job is to cause a complete power overload. First, locate another Relocator, which is once again needed to bypass a laser barrier guarding the Matterspark node.
Once you’re in the clear, activate Matterspark and begin darting around the room, charging up two key power generators. These will be clearly marked and can only be energized while in Matterspark form.
With both generators overloaded, a glowing purple node at the top of the central column becomes exposed. Destroy it to trigger the final encounter.
Boss Fight: Devout Rezilisk, Ramshackle Arcmaster

Sabotage accomplished—but now the Exiles are upset. A string of waves of Fallen spawn, led by the specially named but otherwise unnoticeable Devout Rezilisk, Ramshackle Arcmaster—a normal Fallen Captain with extra wrath.
Rezilisk continues to spam AOE shots at you that leave dangerous zones on the ground. Be evasive and stay moving to not get stuck out. Shanks will try to mob you through this battle too—ignore them long enough and they’ll overwhelm you.
If the situation gets out of hand, don’t forget: you can set the Relocator up as an improvised rocket launcher, and it has unlimited ammo. Use it to thin out groups or bug Rezilisk when you’re in a tight spot.
When Rezilisk is killed, the battle’s over, and a reward chest spawns with loot for your trouble.
