Developed by Genius Sonority, published by The Pokémon Company, and distributed by Nintendo. Pokemon Colosseum is an RPG that is a part of the Pokémon series. Players are able to battle in the game one on one with an NPC, and they have a chance to catch Pokemon as well. The catch is that you will only get a single chance to get a Pokemon, and it won’t return.

If you fail at catching a Pokemon you will need to retry by loading a saved game if you have it, so make sure you know what you’re getting into before you begin the game. Pokemon Colosseum can be brutal that way. This guide will take you through the tier list of the best Pokemon in Pokemon Colosseum in 2023.

Pokemon Colosseum Tier List

Pokemon Colosseum does not have random encounters with Pokemon, but players will be able to catch some Pokemon by “snagging” them, which is to take them from other Trainers using their Poke Balls. There are further restrictions on what type of Pokemon can be snagged, which are the Shadow Pokemon.

Shadow Pokemon are those Pokemon whose hearts have been artificially closed. They have a purple meter which can get drained when battling on behalf of a player, and once it is empty, the Pokemon will need to be purified. No doubt, this slightly older game is quite different from the Pokemon Go that we know of today.
