In Battlefield 6, your choice of weapon can make or break your game on the battlefield. While the game has an assortment of primary, secondary, and gadget options available per class, true greatness comes from pairing the right weapon with the right attachments. Misaligned or default attachments can do you in in an instant, especially against players who have mastered the art of optimising their loadouts for that scenario.
The beta allows for complete customisation of all add-ons to any weapons, but that option brings the challenge of deciding. Every add-on to a weapon carries a point value, and every loadout has a limit of 100 points, so you’ll have to balance between expensive, high-damage upgrades and more opportunities for cheaper upgrades.
SGX – The SMG That Outshines Rifles
Engineers have access to the SGX right from the start, and it’s a weapon you cannot ignore. With heavy damage, high fire rate, and little recoil when you’re equipped well, the SGX can be as good as assault rifles at medium range while straight-up killing in close-quarters.
Best Loadout:
- Muzzle: Linear Compensator
- Barrel: 8″ Extended
- Underbarrel: 6H64 Vertical
- Magazine: 36RND Magazine
- Ammunition: Soft Point
- Scope: OSA-7 1.00x
- Best Accessory: 5 MW Green
M433 – Deadly and Reliable at All Distances
The M433 is the first Assault rifle of the Assault class and a workhorse in nearly any situation. While it has a touch of horizontal recoil, its massive time-to-kill makes it a tried-and-true choice in close encounters as well as long-range shootouts.
Recommended Loadout:
- Muzzle: Compensated Brake
- Barrel: 16.5” Fluted
- Underbarrel: 6H64 Vertical
- Magazine: 30RND Fast Mag
- Ammunition: Polymer Case
- Scope: RO-M 1.50x
NVO-228E – M433 Upgrade
Unlocked at Career Rank 5, the NVO-228E is faster-firing than the M433 and is perfect when paired with the right attachments. Used in correct control, its terrible recoil is manageable, and its very high time-to-kill makes it one of the best rifles for those who can sustain accurate shots repeatedly.
Ideal Loadout:
- Muzzle: Double-Port Brake
- Barrel: 409MM Fluted
- Underbarrel: Classic Vertical
- Magazine: 30RND Magazine
- Ammunition: Polymer Case
- Top Accessory: 5 MW Red
- Scope: CCO 2.00x
M4A1 – A Carbine That Plays Like a Rifle
Carbines like the M4A1 shine at close to mid-range battles, i.e., they’re ideal for small maps and modes like Domination or Breakthrough. Equipped with the right attachments, the M4A1 can play like a true assault rifle too, keeping you in the game in large modes as well.
Recommended Loadout:
- Muzzle: Compensated Brake
- Barrel: 14.5″ Carbine
- Underbarrel: 6H64 Vertical
- Magazine: 36RND Magazine
- Ammunition: Soft Point
- Scope: CCO 2.00x or OSA-7 1.00x
M2010 ESR – Precision Sniper Power
The M2010 ESR starts with underwhelming body-shot one-shots, leaning on taking two shots to drop a target. Upgraded and accurate, though, it’s a game-ender at range. Pair it with Recon and enable the “Kill Confirmed” Field Spec to have headshots immediately kill and interrupt enemy revives.
Recommended Loadout:
- Muzzle: Flash Hider
- Barrel: 26″ Carbon
- Underbarrel: Full Angled
- Magazine: 5RND Magazine
- Ammunition: Tungsten Core
- Ergonomics: DLC Bolt
- Scope: S-VPS 6.00x
- Optic Accessory: AG Coating
- Right Accessory: Range Finder
No matter if you’re run-and-gunning with the SGX or getting those long sightlines out of the M2010 ESR, winning in Battlefield 6 is all about understanding your gun’s capabilities and optimizing it with the right attachments. The beta is a chance to try, but if you want a head start, these loadouts will get you to win fights, level up faster, and prepare for the full launch.
