Mundfish’s Atomic Heart is like a cross between Metro, Bioshock, Stalker, and Fallout, all rolled into one big Soviet dystopian video game. Here we will see more about the gameplay, release date, and everything else in between.
Atomic Heart’s trailer kicked up quite a storm four years ago, and since then fans have been expecting a release date from the Russian game studio Mundfish. According to the official Atomic Heart Discord, there is an updated FAQ about it, which roughly states that the game is currently in the polishing and final assembly stages and they wish to not cause false hope by giving a date. There is also a rumor that the game will be revealed during Q4 2022. Mundfish has recently dropped an official release window trailer of Atomic Heart, so fans can expect the game to be released before the year ends.

Atomic Heart is an FPS set in the Soviet Union somewhere during 1955. But don’t be fooled by the retro-styled RPG; while everything may seem normal on the outside, the country is being run by robots and other fiends who are trying to take over. You play as Agent P-3, a KGB special agent tasked with investigating a facility that started this whole mess and stopping the further spread of classified information. You can create your firearms or try to fend off enemies by using whatever is available in your surroundings. Explore the Soviet testing sites to uncover the truth about what is yet to come. There are two endings to unlock in Atomic Heart, even though the storyline is quite linear.
Atomic Hearts is confirmed for release on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5. This post will be updated once the relevant information is released.
