Teach a Dog New Kicks is the second quest in the A Puzzlement storyline added with Title Update 1.1.6. This time, Naoe and Yasuke help Kinu and Kane sharpen their combat skills—and Naoe ends up learning a new move in the process.

How to Start Teach a Dog New Kicks
- You can jump right into the next quest when you’re done with A Puzzlement.
- Head back to the Glyph Door area in the Wakasa region.
- Speak with Kinu and Kane.
Choose “I’m ready” to start the quest.
Walkthrough
1. Obtain the Dropkick Ability
The quest begins with Yasuke giving Kinu and Kane some combat basics and quickly knocking one of them down to see how tough they really are. Immediately following this, Naoe learns the new Dropkick ability automatically.
To perform this step:
- Use the Dropkick three times.
- Wait for the cooldown each time before using it again.
- That’s all you need for Naoe to master the move.
2. Follow Yasuke and Practice the Move
- Yasuke will move to the nearby training spot.
- Follow him there. Kinu and Kane are going to stand in front of several barrels.
- Use Dropkick on each of them one at a time to complete the drill.
Rewards
When the practice ends, Kinu and Kane hand over a new set of riddle scrolls that you’ll use to continue tracking the mysterious Glyphs. After this quest concludes, the next in the chain, Headucation, becomes available.
