The Rocketeer Driver is an Epic material dropped by the Rocketeer, one of the toughest ARC enemies in Arc Raiders. It’s a key component used in crafting and upgrades, but getting your hands on it isn’t easy-especially if you aren’t ready to face these heavy-hitting machines head-on.
Whether you plan to bring down a Rocketeer yourself or prefer a safer scavenging approach, here’s how to find Rocketeer Drivers efficiently.

Where to Find Rocketeers
Rocketeers spawn on every Arc Raiders map, mostly patrolling the high value loot areas and extraction points. They are easily distinguishable, resembling large Hornet ARCs, but much bulkier and better-armed.
One of the most consistent Rocketeer spawns is at Testing Annex on the Dam Battlegrounds map. You should usually see a Rocketeer floating over the extraction point in that area.
They can also appear near industrial zones and other ARC-controlled sites across Blue Gate, Buried City, and Spaceport.

How to Defeat a Rocketeer
Taking down a Rocketeer is no small feat — it takes only two hits to destroy light shields, so you’re going to want to come prepared with Heavy weapons and explosives.
Recommended Loadout:
- Wolfpack Grenades or Heavy Fuze Grenades for burst damage
- Hullcracker Launcher to strip armor
- Ferro or Anvil rifles with Heavy Ammo for sustained fire
With the Rocketeer flying around, utilize the loftier cover to your advantage. A great place to farm again is the Testing Annex on Dam Battlegrounds: the open window in the front of the main building presents a protected firing angle over the extraction area — ideal for whittling down the Rocketeer’s health in safety.
Once that’s destroyed, loot the wreckage to claim a Rocketeer Driver and other valuable ARC materials.

How to Get Rocketeer Drivers Without Fighting
If you’d rather not fight, a far safer option exists in scavenging Rocketeer Husks. These are the burnt-out remains of destroyed Rocketeers scattered across every map.
You can scavenge these Husks for Rocketeer Drivers and other ARC parts without ever having to fight. Best Farming Methods: Solo Run on Blue Gate: Allow players to load in solo and explore/farm the Rocketeer Husks without the risk of PvP.
First Wave Husks Event: Extra ARC Husks spawn in large numbers during this world event, including the Rocketeer variant, which makes it the perfect time to collect the Rocketeer Drivers. There’s also a small chance to get Rocketeer Drivers from ARC Couriers, although drops from them seem to be very rare.
