Shani insists the risk is worth it, though, and the Cold Storage quest proves why. Your job is simple on paper: track down lost shipments and recover the materials inside. In practice, it’s a little more dangerous than that.
This guide will walk you through where to find the container of J Kozma Ventures, how to secure the rare books inside, and how to make it back to Shani in one piece.

Where To Find a J Kozma Ventures Container
Shani gives you little more than a company name, which isn’t exactly helpful in a massive underground facility. Stella Montis is full of storage bays and cargo stacks, and you’ll have to head into the lower levels to start narrowing things down.
Here are the main things to watch out for:
- Lower platforms are easy to slip from, so watch your fall damage.
- It’s common to find a Bastion patrolling the area.
- Arc resistance in these tunnels is heavy; stealth can save you a lot of trouble.
Suppose you want the safest route, head towards the Lobby Metro station. A white shipping container with the J Kozma Ventures logo is placed near the station. The paint has seen better days, but once you get close enough, it’s readable.

Locating the Rare Books
At the far end of the container is an interact prompt. Inside, a small collection of the rare old books Shani wants preserved can be found. You will need free inventory space in order to carry them.
A few tips while you’re here:
- Because the container is right next to the metro, you can usually extract rather quickly.
- Get ready for a much harder escape through the tunnels if the metro call station is on cooldown.
Once you’re back at base, hand the books over to Shani. She’ll thank you for keeping them out of Arc’s hands and reward you with gas mines and a Raider Hatch key.
