Black Myth Wukong is all about upgrading weapons and taking on bosses. If you are stuck with a boss in the game, the next course of action should be to check your build and respec if required. One of the weapons that requires the Refined iron Sand to craft is the Loongwreathe Staff. With this staff acquired, the bosses in Chapter 2 will be easier to deal with. You require 4 Refined Iron Sand to craft the weapon and here is how to get them in the game.
How to Get Refined Iron Sand in Black Myth Wukong
There are a few places you need to visit and bosses to beat to get the Refined Iron Sand. Here is how to get all 4 refined iron sand.
Defeat the Black Loong Boss
After defeating the Black Loong boss, you will get 2 Refined Iron Sand. Defeating the boss will spawn a chest that has the resource. Black Loong is a secret boss and you need the Loong Scales to summon the moss. You can read the below guide if you do not know where to get the Loong Scales.
Once you have the Loong Scales, go to Yellow Wind Ridge > Fright Cliff > Rockrest Flat Shrine. From the Shrine, head up the stairs on the right. Follow the steps up and you will come across a sand wall. Examine the wall and the path will be cleared. Open the large gate and enter. Head straight through the sandstorm and soon you will find the Black Loong Boss. Defeat the boss and a chest will spawn that contains 2 x Refined Iron Sand.
Buy from the Store at Sand Gate Bound Shrine
To get the 3rd Refined iron Sand, you need to go to Yellow Wind Ridge > Secret: Kingdom of Sahali > Sandgate Bound Shrine. Interact with the Shrine and go to the Store. You can buy the item for 1200 Will.
Complete a Side Quest
Spawn at the Yellow Wind Ridge > Fright Cliff > Rockrest Flat Shrine and go to the Drunken Pig Area. From the Shrine, head straight and take a left as shown in the above image. Go straight and you will come across the NPC. Talk to the NPC and begin the quest. Complete the quest and you will get your final Refined iron Sand.
Once you have all the 4 pieces of Refined Iron Sand, you can craft the Loongwreathe Staff and take on much harder bosses.
