All Music Record Locations – Lies of P Overture

If you’re diving into the Lies of P: Overture DLC and want to unlock the Memory’s Melody trophy, you’ll need to hunt down all 8 music records scattered throughout the game. These collectables aren’t just fun additions; they’re crucial for fully experiencing the game’s rich lore and music, and they only appear during New Game+ runs. All You Need to Know Before Records Hunting

• NG+ Exclusive: All eight records only appear if you’re playing a New Game+ save. They will not be there in your first playthrough.
• Missable Records: Several records are tied to side quests or NPC dialogue that can be lost if you miss your chance.
• Save Frequently: Manually save prior to major battles, quest decisions, or NPC dialogue, especially those dealing with NPCs regarding these records.
• Trophy Tip: After you’ve collected all the records, go back to the gramophone at Hotel Krat and play each record to earn the Memory’s Melody trophy.

Where to Get All 8 Music Records

1. Lisrim (Missable)

Location: Carnival Garden (immediately after defeating the Tyrannical Predator boss)

How to Obtain It:

• Speak with Rosaura at the Stargazer. She’ll request her missing Rose Shoes.
• Search the carousel area and open the chest where the shoes are.
• Return to Rosaura and present the shoes to her to obtain the Lisrim record and a treasure map fragment.

(Note: Don’t miss this side quest — Rosaura will disappear if you don’t complete it prior to leaving the area.)

2. The Clear Blue Sky

Start Location: Zoo Tram Station (Chapter 1)

End Location: After Elixir Research Zone (Chapters 2–4)

How to Obtain It:

• Talk to Goddard, who asks you to inform her about her art supplies.
• Bullseye: Lie to her about the blank painting in order to trigger the quest.
• Find and collect her art supplies from a lab cell in the Elixir Research Zone.
• After defeating the boss Lumacchio, return to Goddard to deliver the supplies and receive the record and a letter.

(Note: This quest is over several chapters, so pay attention!)

3. Nightmare (Missable)

Location: Pistris Harbour — Brain in a Vat side quest

How to Get It:

• Start speaking to the Crusher Puppet first at the Ancient Ruins Excavation and then at the Ergo Mining Site.
• Then later, you will encounter the Brain in a Vat at Pistris Harbour.
• Choose to help him instead of ignoring or abandoning the quest to get the Nightmare record.

(Note: Ignoring or abandoning this quest means the loss of a  chance for this record.)

4. SURVIVOR (Dialogue-Sensitive)

Location: Part of the Tracker’s mission line with the cypher machine challenges.

How to Obtain It:

• Do all of the cypher decoding missions.
• On the final dialogue choice, respond with a positive falsehood: “They will be, and Krat will be saved.”
• This triggers the reward of the SURVIVOR music record.

(Note: Dialogue choices matter here, so be careful!)

5. SURVIVOR (Red)

Location: Eventide Hotel Krat (after the final boss of the DLC has been defeated)

How to Obtain It:

• Defeat the final DLC boss.
• Return to Hotel Krat and follow the route of red butterflies up. 
• Enter the door they point you to and listen to “Lea’s Recollection” to receive this alternate SURVIVOR version.

6. The Clear Blue Sky (Gold) (NG+ Exclusive / Missable)

Location: Merchant in Carnival Garden Stargazer

How to Get It:

• During your NG+ playthrough, find the merchant in the Carnival Garden area.
• Purchase the Gold record for 10,000 Ergo.
• Watch Out: The shopkeeper disappears if you don’t purchase, so don’t be afraid!

7. Nightmare (Gold) (NG+ Exclusive)

Location: Eventide Hotel Krat

How to Obtain It:

• Find a Luxury Bag in the Elixir Research Zone and give it to Klaus.
• Klaus will then trade this rare Nightmare Gold record with you for 1 Ancient Disk.

8. Lisrim (Gold) (NG+ Exclusive)

Location: Merchant near Archon Fleet Shipwrecks Stargazer

How to Get It:

• Locate the merchant in NG+ near Archon Fleet Shipwrecks Stargazer.
• Purchase the Gold Lisrim record for 9,000 Ergo.

How to Unlock the Memory’s Melody Trophy?

Once you’ve collected all 8 records during your New Game+ run, head back to the gramophone in Hotel Krat. Play each record, soaking in the full musical history and atmosphere of the Overture DLC.
