V Rising is an open-world survival game in early access from Battlerite makers Stunlock Studios, and it’s all about practically crafting your existence as a vampire. In many aspects, it’s similar to a vampiric Valheim, but with a top-down perspective and more MMO deliciousness. You start your new existence by choosing a PVE or PVP server, creating your bloodsucker, and then BOOM! Your exposed vein is the open globe.

V Rising is a large open world with room for at least 50 castles per server and the ability to freely wander between areas. The map’s most notable features are lush woods and vast farmlands with communities and caves/dungeons.

There will be a visual narrative, as well as indications on the map from a time when vampires dominated the planet. There will be bosses, as well as encounters with patrolling humans and ruthless vampire hunters at random.

V Rising Game Modes

V Rising will launch with four official game modes from which to choose, so whether you want to compete or collaborate, the option is yours as you explore the massive open-world brimming with mythological beings and danger around every turn.

The official breakdown of all four game modes that will be available at launch is as follows:

PvP (Player verse Player)

Vampires fight for domination as they retake Vardoran in these war-torn kingdoms in this game mode. Vampires may siege and raid each other’s castles during specific time periods. Join a clan of up to four vampires to extend your realm and gain friends in the game of blood and power.

Full Loot PvP

Vampires strive for power in these chaotic worlds as they seek to regain Vardoran. Risk it all in every encounter since you drop all treasure upon death. Vampires may siege, conquer, or even entirely destroy one other’s fortresses at various times. Joining a clan of up to four vampires will increase your chances of survival.

Duo PvP

Vampires fight for domination as they retake Vardoran in these war-torn kingdoms. Vampires may siege and raid each other’s castles during specific time periods. Rise on your own or join forces with another vampire to control the planet.

PvE (Player verse Environment)

Vampires battle alongside one another in these honourable lands to regain Vardoran. Rise alone or join a tribe of up to four vampires to rule the planet together.

You cannot relocate your castle after it has been built, thus it is strongly suggested that you consider long and hard the site of your original build. Depending on your game mode, you can build two Castle Hearts, which means you can build two castles at the same time.

I am a history graduate and turned my hobby into a passion. When I am not writing, I am playing games. I love games that revolve around the main “Hero” character. My love for COD started when I was 18 and since then it has been growing. Other games that I love are Assasin’s Creed, Grand Theft Auto V. Currently building an affair with the story-based games.
