The enigmatic Black Rabbit Brotherhood returns in Lies of P: Overture, and they bring with them a fresh batch of secret challenges and rewards to collect. There are a number of hidden safehouses called Black Rabbit Holes scattered throughout Krat. Each one contains a vault with exclusive Brotherhood-themed gear, but you’ll need to find a specific key to unlock each door. These keys are often hidden in obscure locations or tied to quest progress, so knowing where to look makes all the difference.
Here’s a full breakdown of how to find every key, open each hidden chamber, and claim the Brotherhood’s legacy.
Black Rabbit Hole Key and Door Locations
First Black Rabbit Hole Key & Vault

Your first key is the simplest to obtain. As you work your way through the Carnival Garden district, you’ll find a Wandering Merchant residing alongside the Tram Shortcut House and the Tram Station. He sells the First Black Rabbit Key, and you can also sell him the Royal Tea Cup Set you acquire from the Clown Minigame close to the Stargazer.
With the key in hand, go to the alley behind the minigame stand where two sweeper maid enemies walk. At the end of it, you will see the first Black Rabbit Hole. A vault with the Eccentric’s Mask and Piercing Death’s Hunting Gear is inside. Put them both on, and you will receive a collectible named the Brotherhood’s Note automatically, which provides lore on the eccentric sibling.
Second Black Rabbit Hole Key & Vault

This key does not have to be discovered—it opens up itself. After you fit the entire outfit that you got from the first vault (apparel and mask), the Second Black Rabbit Key is automatically sent to your inventory.
With the key in hand, proceed with the story until you arrive at Eventide Hotel Krat. Upstairs, down the hall towards the Gold Fruit Tree, you will discover the second Black Rabbit Hole hidden where Giangio used to sell Wishstones. Within, you’ll acquire The Youngest’s Mask and Permeating Death’s Hunting Apparel. Wearing this second set of clothes rewards you with the Delivery Receipt, adding yet more of the Brotherhood’s backstory.
Third Black Rabbit Hole Key & Vault

The third key can be obtained in the Zelator Underground Facility, though it’s more concealed. You’ll get to a part with some finicky platforming with coolant pipes, overhangs, and ladders as you make your way through the level. When the lighting in the area changes from yellow to blue, take a pause and sweep the area with your scanner. Below a pipe protruding from the wall, there’s a ladder to the side—climb down it to find yourself on a platform where the key is being watched over by a solitary enemy.
Once you’ve obtained the key, fast-travel to the Zelator Underground Facility Stargazer. Turn right and follow the path until you see the third Black Rabbit Hole. The vault in this location has The Eldest’s Gas Mask and Black Death’s Protective Apparel. Wearing the entire set will unlock the Family Photo of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood, yet another memento that is connected to their narrative.
Fourth Black Rabbit Hole Key & Vault

The fourth and last key is in Pistris Harbor. After defeating the shield puppet miniboss, descend using the nearby control panel to drop the submarine. Cross the bridge that forms, and you’ll find the Fourth Black Rabbit Key lying in a corner just beyond it.
While you’ll pick up the key here, the final vault will not be available until much, much later. Press on until you come to the Krat Lighthouse. Go to the top, and then fall down through the space between the railings. Go down two flights of ladders, and you will see the final Black Rabbit Hole cut into the wall down near the bottom.
On the inside, you’ll get The Battle Maniac’s Mask and Blazing Death’s Hunting Attire. Wearing the last set rewards you with the Missing Keys Log, which ties up the last strands of the Brotherhood’s storyline.
If you’ve been tracking Rosaura’s story, it’s also here where you’ll see her again. Remember to talk to her before proceeding.
Final Thoughts & Completion Rewards
Opening and discovering all four Black Rabbit Holes not only rewards you with fashionable and deadly equipment, but also uncovers secret pieces of lore through items such as the Brotherhood’s Note, Family Photo, and Missing Keys Log. Every set of equipment you accumulate and wear contributes to piecing together the Brotherhood’s history, providing a glimpse into one of Krat’s most mysterious factions.
If you’re aiming for full DLC completion, tracking down these vaults is a must. So keep your gear equipped, your eyes open, and don’t leave any Rabbit Hole unopened.
