To obtain Hero’s Courage, head to the West Mass Grave located at the Mandate Encampment in the western area of the map. Once you reach the area, look for the bell and drop down from the nearby ledge using the available drop-down option.
To access it, you have to fight the enemies present in the area. There are other collectibles nearby, including one that is easy to reach, but the purple item that you need won’t be accessible if you don’t defeat the required enemies.
How to Get Hero’s Courage
Clear out the enemies around the West Mass Grave and defeat the specific enemy guarding the item that gives you Hero’s Courage. Once the enemy is eliminated, interact with the object to obtain Hero’s Courage.
What Does Hero’s Courage Do?
Hero’s Courage upgrades the Swordsman Summon, changing the Summon Swordsman Captain into a purple-robed Windblade Swordsman. It also takes the place of two kinds of Summon Swordsman Disciplines with Patient Sword Guardians.
The newly improved summons will therefore possess all the upgrades that were made to the former Swordsman summons, making Hero’s Courage especially useful for Soul Tempering upgrade.
